BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. you better stop messing around , AND DONT SAY THAT YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As Mitchie and Caitlyn left the cabin for dinner Emma waved at the two before allowing the door to slowly close. She wasn’t going to dinner, and why do you ask? Because in the first time in what must have been at least two weeks, Emma and Nate were going out. Well, they didn’t usually go out regularly but at the beginning of camp they use to just hang out all the time, but suddenly that had all changed. Emma didn’t know why, but it just had. Either he was to busy, or she was too busy, or Emma needed to sleep or practice or work on lesson plans or something. There were just a hundred different things keeping them from each other. But it didn’t matter because they would be together now, or for a while any ways. They were going to a movie, if Emma recalled correctly. Super, right?
Come to think of it, Nate had been acting rather strange lately. Even when they were together he just couldn’t seem to look at her. It was just weird, and she really didn’t get it. Was there something that he wasn’t telling her? Or was Emma just too paranoid for her own good. She shook her head, just trying to get the thought of Nate doing anything wrong out of her head. She didn’t even want to think of the possibilities. She shouldn’t have needed to either. Emma honestly didn’t believe that Nate had done anything wrong, it just didn’t seem like Nate to. Not to mention if he had, it was more than likely that he would say something to her.
Whatever. It wasn’t really something Emma wanted to spend her time thinking about, especially when Nate was going to arrive any minute. Emma ran her hand through her hair slowly, and looked around the cabin. Ugh, it was still a mess, therefor she couldn’t find anything. She scanned the room before spotting Mitchie’s jean skirt on the floor. She smiled to herself before slipping it on, ignoring the fact that it was Mitchie’s. Oh well, she wouldn’t care. Emma sat on her bed, and slipped on her silver heels before standing up and walking to the mirror. On her way over, she stumbled across her DC shoes and groaned. Maybe this was a sign. Maybe she wasn’t suppose to be wearing heels tonight because Nate liked when she wore flats? Damn. The gods had won. She slid her heels off, and kicked them under her bed before putting on her flats. Ugh, how she hated flat shoes.
Emma looked around her cabin once more before deciding that she didn’t have anything else she needed. She grabbed her cell phone on the way out the door, and sat slowly on the steps. They’d planned to meet at Emma’s cabin, so she might as well enjoy the fresh air as she waited. She looked around the camp and couldn’t help smiling to herself. This was why she loved it here, not because of Nate or Mitchie, although they didn’t hurt the experience, it was because of how beautiful it always was. Boston was full of cars and tall buildings, you couldn’t even see the stars at night. But here, at camp you could see it all.
She was snapped out of her thoughts as she heard a voice approaching. She looked up and smiled to see that it was Nate. She stood up, and sighed to herself as she realized how much shorter flat shoes made her look. She hugged him and looked up at him, if only for a second before stepping back and then around him. “As ready as I’ll ever be.” she said, picking up Nate’s hand and beginning to walk away from the cabin. “So how’ve you been lately? I mean I haven’t really seen you in a while.” she said, looking at him. Emma hated the fact that it was a little summer romance, and the fact that once camp was over it’d more then likely be done and over with. Nate would go on tour and Emma would go to finish her senior year in Boston. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, shrugging... which was definitely true. "I'm probably not supposed to tell you this, but it'll give you the truth as to why I've been gone a lot. Madison came down with cancer, and I promised her as her best friend, that I'd be there for her. When we first got back together, I slacked on that, and felt really bad about it. But while I tried to balance it out, I ended up spending more time with her than you. I suck at this whole schedule thing, don't I?" He said, just laughing and clicking the lock open button on his car. He opened her door for her and smiled, then walked to the other side to get in. He got in the car and revved the engine. "Ontop of that, classes and keeping up with everything, I just can't really handle it." He said, smirking. "What about you, though? I haven't seen you around much, either. I heard Ryder's back." He said, turning his eyes towards her and then backing out, driving towards the main road to hit the city.[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. you better stop messing around , AND DONT SAY THAT YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emma shifted her eyes from Nate to her feet. She followed them as they walked along the path that led from the cabins to the parking lot, although it wasn’t much of a parking lot. Hardly anyone at camp brought their cars to camp anyways. Hell, Emma didn’t even have her own car and she was almost eighteen. She had to drive her moms around when she shuttled her little sister from place to place. It wasn’t as if she didn’t love her sister, it was just a drag to have to bring her everywhere because her mom was always at work. Or off with that new man of hers. Don’t get her wrong, Emma was extremley happy for her mother. She was finally happy, and that was all that Emma wanted. And the man wasn’t a total loser either, so it was okay.
Emma nodded in agreement at what Nate said. She’d been stressed too from her classes. Honestly, teaching was not for her. She’d begun to wish that she’d just stayed a camper. Mitchie had done it so why couldn'’ Emma of? Well I know why, it was for the money. Camping you got no money. But when you were a counselor you got paid, because it was a job, duh. And Emma was in no position to pass up money, not to mention it was doing something she loved, was it not? She was dancing, even if she ended up having to teach it to enchoherint little thirteen year olds. She had to deal with it if she wanted to keep the income. But she was only seventeen, she shouldn't of needed to make money for her family. Maybe for herself, but with only her mom and Emma going off to college next year she could use the money.
Emma's jaw dropped at what Nate said next. Madison had Cancer? Like the medical thing that could kill you? Emma really hadn't seen that one coming. She moved her hand to cover her mouth, just not knowing what to say. Madison Jones had Cancer and Emma had been the biggest ass to her in the world. She sat in the car, with a blank expresion on her face. She just really didn't know what to say. Over all these years, Emma and Madison had hated each other and now she had Cancer. She was going through Chemo and all that, which must of meant she'd be losing her hair. That was just horrible. "God, I feel like an asshole." Emma mumbled looking for at Nate as he sat beside her in the driver seat. "Nate she...she could," Emma paused not wanting to say it. She didn't want to say the words Madison could die, because she thought that if she said it it might come true. "Couldn't she?" she said, actually quite shocked that she hadn't started crying at the news. She may have hated Madison but the news was still incredibley sad.
She tried to shake it off as she heard something about Ryder, missing everything before that. She nodded slowly, not sure what to say. He wasn't actually back yet, he'd be coming in tomorrow she believed. Emma forced a smile on her face, and tried to get the thought of Madison with Cancer out of her head. "He should be coming up tomorrow." she said. What Emma wanted to say was that the two would be great friends, and that Nate would love him. He would probably love him up until the time when Ryder started to bitch him out about everything that happened last year.
But what else had Emma been up to. Well she could tell him that she'd been drinking on and off lately just because the stress of her classes was getting to her, but that probably wasn't a good idea. She leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes, "Honestly, I don't know how people actually tolerate teaching. Like seriously, I've been just going to my cabin and wanting to sleep forever after my classes." she said, opening her eyes up and smiling to Nate. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, shrugging. It was true. Nate had already been Madison's best friend, and he hadn't all of a sudden become more caring because he felt sorry for her, but because that was what she needed him to do, and part of being best friends was being there for them through anything. His knuckles clenched a bit as Emma basically asked if Madison could die, without actually asking it. That was one thing he could never fully get over. Sure, he had calmed himself about the chemo and her losing weight and losing her hair, but the possibility that it could all go wrong still lingered like that small itch you couldn't scratch. His voice shook a little, but he attempted to keep it stable. "Yes, she could." was all he said. He didn't like thinking about it, but in all honesty, he kind of had to. He had thought about it every time they had hung out. When he had gone to the hospital with her and watched them pump a poison through her veins, it had almost killed him watching her still smile about it. She really was tough, but no one saw that. All everyone ever saw was her bitch side. But it was okay, he had the good side. Nate nodded when she answered his Ryder question. He wasn't quite sure if he was looking forward to talking to Ryder. If he was anything like Madison, he would be against Emma and Nate being together. And at this moment, Nate wasn't sure if he'd disagree. As the time progressed, Nate remembered exactly why he wanted to be with Emma. This, this talking, was nice. But at the same time, his heart was with someone else. And he honestly wondered if Ryder had been pining for Emma like Maddie had pined for Nate for so long. Unrequited love sucked ass, so he honestly wanted to talk to the other boy. But, he'd wait 'til it happened. He grinned. "Oh the luxury of sleeping. I miss my bed. Where Maddie's been getting sick so much, I've slept in the floor of her cabin just in case something bad happened." He shrugged, he wouldn't deny it, he had been spending the night in Madison's cabin a lot. And honestly, they had fallen asleep talking the majority of the time. And, a few times, she had woken up and gotten sick in the middle of the night. But that was to be expected, right? "But I know what you mean. After I get out of a class, all I want to do is sleep. But I am making some hedgeway on a new song in my songwriting class. They're finally to the point where they work on their own, so I've had a little time to start a new song. I'm pretty excited." He said, thinking to his new 'a little bit longer' song. IT was mostly about his diabetes, but he had started thinking about Madison's cancer, as well, and it was just going to be one of those songs that anyone could relate to. Disease-ridden or not. He took the car on the interstate and smiled at the 5 miles to the next exit sign. They were almost there. He looked over at Emma, and started laughing. "So I just realized that we haven't decided what movie we're going to see yet." He said, turning his eyes back to the road. As he drove, he dropped his right hand down and grabbed hers, wanting to see if that warmth was still there. It was, and it confused the hell out of them. He liked two girls. He was in love with one of them for sure, but was it such a bad thought that he could love the other one? He needed to choose and choose fast before he got in even deeper than he was now. But he just couldn't hurt one of them. That just wasn't his nature. He squeezed her hand and pulled away, putting his hand back on the steering wheel, pulling off onto the exit.[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. Emma didn’t think it was funny at all. She’d been a total bitch to Madison and all this time she had Cancer. Way to put a damper on things…But what he said was true. Emma did know that Madison would have hated it if Emma all of a sudden started acting all nice around her. If she just acted like the past four years had been nothing and the hatred had just gone away. But it was really hard to hate someone who was as sick as her. Great, why couldn’t Nate have just gone along like nothing had happened? Emma didn’t need to know what was wrong with Madison. He could have just told her that Madison needed him lately and she would have gotten in. Not why of course, but he was her best friend and if she needed him then Emma couldn’t deny her of him. It wasn’t like Emma owned Nate or anything.
Emma instantly regretting bringing up the fact that Madison could die. It was obviously a soft subject for Nate, so why’d she bring it up? Simply because Emma sometimes spoke without thinking of what else would happen. She was exactly blunt. She was like blunt toned down a few levels. Of course that wasn’t all that good either. Speaking without thinking hardly ever led to good things. She bit her lip and looked at Nate, “I’m sorry I didn’t…I mean I just,” she cut herself off not wanting to ramble forever. She hadn’t meant for it to come out the way it had. Emma wanted to tell Nate that she’d be fine but she didn’t want to say it if there was a chance of it not being true.
Emma smiled, happy to be off the grim subject. Sleeping was great. Honestly if Emma could sleep for like the whole winter, like a bear then she totally would. If Emma had to sleep on a hard cabin floor she might just have died. Not because it was gross or anything, just because she’d probably get a maximum of two hours of sleep and when that happened the bitch would come out. When Emma didn’t get enough sleep she just didn’t function at all. Of course, that happened to most people too.
That was good that he was writing a new song. Emma hadn’t really done anything related to her dance besides teach it lately. It had begun to be more of a chore then something she loved. Maybe dance wasn’t what she was suppose to do. Well she knew one thing; she wasn’t going to become a teacher. Usually Emma was good with kids. She could entertain them and keep them happy. But when it came time to teach them something, ah Emma was out. But she couldn’t just quit her job, so she’d have to deal with it for the rest of the summer.
Emma shrugged when Nate brought up the fact that they hadn’t chosen a movie yet. She smiled as Nate put his hand over his and continued to look out the window. “I don’t care but no like horror stuff with like a lot of gore, because seriously I can not handle blood.” she said laughing at herself. Really Emma was the biggest baby in the world when it came to scary movies. She really just could not take the whole murder and blood thing. It was all just creepy. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! TEMPLATE CREDIT LIZZ SAY WERD ?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, sighing and looking back at the road. He had already freaked out about it once, he was relatively calm now. He looked back to Emma and smiled. "I'm fine, I promise." He said, hoping that wasn't what she was worried about how he was reacting to it. Sitting in the car with Emma was starting to be a little overwhelming. He had been kind of hoping that over the past few weeks, she had started not liking him as much. It would make it way easier on him later on if she didn't like him anymore, but he could tell those feelings were still there... and it was killing him. But he kept his face straight and his emotions in tact. Not yet. He would figure it out later. Tonight was just going to be a night for him and Emma. Last chance for romance. It wasn't like today was going to be the deciding factor of who he ended up choosing. Not at all, but it would help a lot. He still liked Emma, that much was true. But somewhere he had developed feelings for Madison, as well, and those were crazy strong. He hated being stuck in a decision, and felt horrible for being a bad boyfriend for Em, but at the same time, he wondered if it was justified for him to realize what he needed in life. He just threw his thoughts away for the time being. He'd stress out later. He started laughing as she said something about no blood. "Well, you can pick, then, since I drove." He said, winking as they pulled into the parking lot of the theater. He looked up at the wall and saw a list of movies. Two chick flicks, an indie type film he wouldn't pay attention to, and two scary movies. He shrugged and looked to her, with a laugh. "I'm not backing down, you'll have to decide." He said, smiling innocently at her.[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. Okay, good. She didn’t want Nate like all in a bad mood now that Emma’d brought it up. But she wouldn’t have been shocked if he was. I mean his best friend had cancer. If Ryder or Mitchie had cancer Emma just wouldn’t have been able to handle it. She opened her mouth to say something but decided against it. Whatever. Talking just always seemed to screw up the situation. But Emma just supposed that Nate had it all under control, and that it would be fine. Madison was in good hands after all. She had Nate by her side throughout the whole experience. Lucky her.
As a patch of silence arose Emma clicked her feet together, waiting for someone to say something. If Emma hated anything, it was awkward silence. They were just uncalled for in Emma’s opinion. Like really, how come two people couldn’t keep a conversation going? That was what Emma wanted to know. She kept her view on the cars that were driving past them. Nate was a rather slow driver, but she wouldn’t mention that to him. Guys were always so macho that they had to go like a hundred miles an hour and that kind of freaked Emma out. If Nate planned on driving that fast, Emma would get out of the car and walk to the movies. It wasn’t as if she couldn’t use the exercise. Emma’s days now consisted of, Food, Dance, Mitchie, and Sleep. Mainly Mitchie because she’d spend hours on end with Emma in her cabin just rambling on about nothing. It was just super.
As Nate finally spoke Emma looked over at Nate. Blah, Emma hated making choices. Like really, she could never decide. That was why she was hoping that Nate would choose. But no, he had to decide that Emma needed to pick. She shrugged, really not wanting to decide. The two chic flicks seemed the most apealing to her, but she really didn’t want to make Nate sit through an hour and a half of it. But the horror movies were deffinitley out, did you forget what Emma had just told Nate? Gore was out. The Indie thing looked kind of lame. But really, she didn’t care at all. She was just glad to finally be spending time with Nate again, it was like he’d been avoiding her.
Come to think of it, Nate had been avoiding her a lot lately. Maybe it wasn’t intentional but Emma couldn’t help but notice how he wasn’t around much anymore. Sure, he’d been taking care of Madison but that couldn’t have been taking up all his time? “Are you okay?” she asked him finally. Maybe there was something that he wasn’t telling her. Really, Emma didn’t care but if something was going on she didn’t want to be the last to know. Hell, she’d probably read about it in a magazine soon enough but she’d rather hear it from him first, that is if something was going on. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, grabbing her hand and walking towards the box office. They got up and he got two tickets to one of the chick flicks. He usually wouldn't sit through them, but he had found out that they generally gave good advice, and he hoped to hell today would be one of those days. He smiled at her as they walked towards the concessions. "Wanna share a soda?" He asked, smiling down at her and then ordering a large soda anyways. That was just Nate. He moved so she could order something if she wanted it, and he paid the money for it. It's not like he didn't have it. And he was treating Emma to a date night. They hadn't had a real date since they started dating, so it was nice to get to pay and spoil her and all the sorts. [/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. She stepped out and looked up at him, just waiting for an answer. She hated herself when Nate had to bend down to kiss her, even on the forehead. Ugh, screw being short. It was so overrated. She couldn’t change it now, she’d decided to wear flats and that was what was going on. Wow, I’ve never really noticed how pre-occupied Emma was with her height. Okay, lie, I have. And if you haven’t then where the hell have you been is what I want to know. “Fine,” Emma mumbled, really thinking there was something more. But whatever. Nate wasn’t really one for keeping secrets. Then again he hadn’t told her about Madison until just now, course it wasn’t much of Emma’s business. Still, he had waited an awful long time to tell her. Man this girl was paranoid.
She allowed him to pick up her hand, and walked along side him. Emma smiled at him once he decided that they’d see a chic flick. Yay. Anything was going to be better then gore and blood that was for sure. But Emma was one for a good old romantic comedy type thing, slightly like how Emma and Nate were. They fought constantly Emma constantly started fights, that Nate wouldn’t finish. And then eventually, like five minutes eventually, they’d be perfectly fine with each other. But that was just the way they rolled. It wasn’t as if Emma really wanted Nate to fight with her, so when he denied the fight she wasn’t all that upset. It just went to show how opposites attract. The angry girl, and then calm dude. Strange.
Emma shrugged when Nate asked if they wanted to share soda. Sure, she didn’t care much. She also wasn’t all that hungry but she got skittles any ways. She really did love skittles, they were so colorful and fruity. She ripped open the bag and popped on in her mouth before offering one to Nate. Some people got popcorn at movies, some people bought candy, some people bought both. Emma just bought skittles. They didn’t seem like such a hot item seeing how the row was still mainly full, compared to the other candy choices. Maybe she’d have to convince Nate to buy the rest of them and let her keep them! Like a pet! Okay, no that sounds slightly insane…. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, apologizing that she had to be subject to that. He was used to it, but it still annoyed him how adamant the people were about getting a picture of him in personal life. It wasn't a paparazzi now, it was a younger girl who had wanted to see Nate Gray. But it was whatever. There was about 10 minute 'til the movie started and he started to say something to Emma as a small girl walked up and smiled up at him. He couldn't resist little kids. That was his one weakness. She raised a piece of paper and pen and blushed and Nate thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. He took it and smiled down at her. "Hey, what's your name?" She said, Maddie, and he grinned. "My best friend's name is Maddie. Maybe that means you're my new best friend?" He said, signing it and hugging the small girl. "Enjoy the movie." The little girl giggled and walked down the stairs. Why in the hell was there a young girl at a chick flick? Oh well. It had been cute. He turned back to Emma. "I'm so sorry, I probably shouldn't have suggested a huge public place." He said, sighing and looking around at some older girls, around 15 or 16, looking up at him and then turning and talking. BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. you better stop messing around , AND DONT SAY THAT YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emma continued to eat her skittles, but then stopped herself realizing that the bag would be half gone before the movie started if she didn’t stop. She followed Nate into the theater, and for a moment actually forgot who she was with. She didn’t forget that she was with Nate, no. She forgot that she was with Nate Gray. The famous one. Emma forgot all of this until a flash went off in their faces. Emma blinked quickly, trying to get that annoying dot out of her vision. You know, the one you get with a bright flash? Well yeah, that was blinding her right now. She didn’t really get how Nate could deal with it all. If people were flashing pictures of her every four seconds Emma would seriously just flip shit on someone. Of course, that probably wouldn’t be too great for her image but she just would. That didn’t really matter though, because no one ever took pictures of her, unless she was with Nate, so she didn’t have an image to uphold. The one thing that Emma was hoping was that she wouldn’t be identified as the mystery girl again. Last summer there had been one or two pictures where they’d all called her “Nate Gray’s Mystery Girl.” It was just weird.
Couldn’t they like ask for her name or something so she wouldn’t be known as the freaking mystery girl. Really, who wanted that title? Emma certainly didn’t, yet she was apparently stuck with it. Maybe next time someone tried to take a picture of them she’d go off on the person. No, she couldn’t. That would probably be bad for Nate’s image. Y’know, to be dating some crazy insane girl. Yeah, all the fans would just love that. She smiled at Nate, “Psh, I don’t care. I look fabulose.” she joked. Of course she wasn’t being serious, if you haven’t caught on she didn’t like the whole random cameras everywhere. Maybe this was a sign that Emma wasn’t suppose to do anything with her dancing. Like, she was just suppose to stay an ordinary girl and not make a name for herself? Then again, if she did the last five years of camp were a total and complete waste.
As a little girl walked up to Nate she smiled. Little kids were cute, the ones that were under the age of 8 and really didn’t have an attitude yet. Hell, if they never got an attitude then Emma liked them just the same as the five year olds. She grinned at the little girl as she walked back to her seat. Nate was good with kids, probably a hell of a lot better with them than Emma was. Well, she could deal with the younger ones. But as they got older, they just got harder to maintain. Thinking about kids just made Emma think of her future. What she'd be doing in six years, when she could have kids and not be taken as a whore. She’d be 24 then, and that was all that Emma knew. She thought she wanted to dance, but now she just wasn’t so sure. It had been her whole life up until this point. She couldn’t possibly stop now, could she?
Emma didn’t mind. Sure, the flashes of light were annoying as hell but besides that it was okay. They hadn’t gotten mobbed by paparazzi or anything yet. “It’s fine. I don’t mind,” Emma said. She looked where Nate was looking. At a bunch of teenage girls who kept sneaking looks at the two. She rolled her eyes, really hoping that she wasn’t the main subject of their conversation. “Oh my gosh, look at that ditz Nate Gray’s with.” Blah. She really didn’t want to hear it. The whole hating on people because they had someone you didn’t, was kind of over rated in Emma’s book. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BANNER CREDIT HAY ALISON?! HOLD ON TIGHTit's a roller coaster ride we're on so SAY GOODBYE He said, putting up the armrest between them and putting his arm around her. Even if he was confused about being with her, he wasn't going to stop acting like her boyfriend. Because he was, in fact, still her boyfriend. He nodded as she said she didn't mind. He felt kind of bad that she had to be around this. This wasn't her lifestyle. Emma wasn't the type of person who enjoyed being on camera or being in the public eye. Nate didn't quite enjoy it either, but he was slowly getting more and more used to it. That was just what came with dating him, and he wasn't sure if Emma would want to have to live in the limelight all the freaking time. Luckily, the movie was starting. The lights went off and Nate made himself comfortable with her by his side. The preview came on and he rolled his eyes. It was talking about their new movie coming out. It was basically just a concert movie, but he hated watching it on screen. He sighed as people clapped when it was over. That was because he was in there. They wouldn't even be considering clapping if he hadn't been there. He shrunk down in his seat a little, praying for the movie to start so he wouldn't feel so awkward about sitting in a damn theater, of all places. Seriously, could his fame not leave him alone for one day?[/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE OF LIES. you better stop messing around , AND DONT SAY THAT YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emma smiled at Nate as he just laughed. She wasn’t all that funny most of the time, just lame. The lameness then led to her being goofy all the time, hence the goofballness. Wow? Is that even a word? Goofballness…Whatever. Emma looked back to the girls as Nate put his arm around her and really had the urge to stick her tongue out at them. Kind of in a way that said, ‘Ha, in your face.’ But really that would immature and stupid so she didn’t. Instead she just tried to avoid the looks that they kept sending her. Hell they were the ones being immature, so bam. All Emma was doing was being on a date with her boyfriend who just so happened to be Nate Gray, so if they couldn’t handle those facts then they could keep to themselves, please and thank you.
Really, the whole famous lifestyle wasn’t one she was all that comfortable in. She wasn’t in it much because they spent most of their time at camp, but when they did, rarely, go out then Emma was always…just not herself. She was shy, to say at the least, which definitely wasn’t Emma. She’d just walk along side Nate, not saying a word. Nate could handle whatever was going on and it wasn’t really any of Emma’s buisness. He was, after all, the one who had been in the light for a few years now. He had grown use to it. Emma on the other hand, had not…at all. It was just weird and new to her. New things took time to get use to. Emma didn’t really find it logical to try and get used to it. There wasn’t much of a chance that they would last after camp, so then Emma could just go back to Boston like nothing had happened. No one would know her still, and that was just what would happen.
As the previews started and the room went dark Emma looked to Nate as a preview for their new movie/concert thing came on. He didn’t exactly looked pleased. Oh well. Emma laughed at the look on Nate’s face before returning her attention to the screen. As the people started clapping Emma continued to laugh, really this was just unbelievable. Because he was in their presence they had to clap for him? She debated whether or not she should join in, just as a joke to embarrass Nate some more. In the end she decided against it and just put her attention back to watching the previews.
