Someone please look at the sky__________________________________________________ Adriana was startled awake by the noise of one of her roomates snoring. "Ughh." she groaned rubbing her eyes. She looked at the clock next to her. 2:48 it read. She quietly reached under her bunk for her slippers. Then she tip-toed towards the door until she heard the floor creak from underneath her. She suddenly froze in her tracks, afraid of waking up someone else. After about a minute she began to proceed again, this time making it out the door. Not entirley sure of where she was going she found herself at the beginning of the trail. Walking along the path sleepily she thought about all the things that surrounded her. Her feet carried her to the middle of the path where there was a small field. She layed down in the cool grass that had dew on it from the day before. Not caring about the wetness she stayed on her back looking up at the pitch-black night sky. The only light around the peaceful field was the stars shining down on her. Adriana thought, "There must be at least 70,000 stars shining down on me." She layed there hearing only her thoughts until someone she couldn't quite make-out layed down next to her. OUTFIT:clicky``MUSE:runnin' on empty ``STATUS: complete ``TAGS:none ``TEMPLATE:by bemyTHUNDER ``LYRICS:look at the sky && mcfly[/ul]

i hate this part right herei just can't take your tears. Emma rolled over in her bed and sighed. She hadn't been able to get any decent sleep in the longest time. She would just stare up at the ceiling, trying to count sheeps, or whatever it was. But she usually only acheived about four hours of sleep, and that was certainly not enough for Emma. She was one of those people who needed their sleep or else they would become a total and complete bitch in the morning. And she was really hoping to avoid that person just because she'd been doing so well with it.
She'd espechialy been doing well with it around Nate. Last year the two had gotten into fight after fight, and this year they'd yet to get in a single fight...better knock on wood. Emma wasn't so sure how long that would last. She didn't want to fight with Nate but it was just Emma's nature to explode, people could change but for how long? Now that, Emma wasn't so sure of. She'd didn't want to go back to the old Emma. She liked the new Emma.
Finally Emma sat straight up in her bed and looked around. Mitchie and Caitlyn were both sound asleep. Emma sighed before getting up out of her bed. She slipped on her flip flops, and grabbed a sweat shirt that was sitting over a chair. She didn't even think it was hers, but oh well. She walked quietly across the floor and out the door, closing the screen door quietly behind herself. As Emma made her way down the Moonlight Trail and smiled at the though of Nate. It was a simple relation, the two had come walking out here the first night of camp. Emma's thoughts strayed out to Nate for a while longer before she saw someone lying on the grass, as she neared the person she realized who it was. Adriana. Emma knew Adriana slightly, but she was a camper. Wasn't she suppose to be in her cabin at this time? Oh well, Emma had snuck out last year when she was a camper, "Hey Adriana," she said, laying on the grass next to her.

To realize----------------------------------------------------------------- The wet grass was starting to seep through my shirt but I just wanted to sit here and think a little longer. Everything was so beautiful here at camp. At night it seemed like everything stopped. Almost all of the campers would be in bed, the conselours with them. All you could hear was the slight sound of an owl, or maybe a rustle of the leaves. As I was thinking someone layed next to me.
At first I couldn't tell who it was because the moon was covered by an overlaying cloud. Finally when the cloud moved I saw that it was Emma, one of the conselours here at Camp Rock. "Hey Adriana," she said. Right then I was afraid I would get in trouble. I loved it here and I didn't want to be suspended from any activities. Crossing my fingers I said, "Hey Emma. How are you?" Hoping for the best.
Emma was one of her favorite conselours. The reason being, she and the rest of them were so close knit you'd think they had known each other for years on end. They probably didn't notice but alot of the campers here loved the way they bonded. And one day hoped to be part of that group. Adriana was getting tired and knew she really shouldn't have been here, but tonight was different somehow. After she had seen Emma's face she knew that she would understand.

i hate this part right herei just can't take your tears. When Adrianne asked how Emma was, she shrugged. She was alright, she supposed. She wasn't really great, but she wasn't really bad. Well how the hell could she be bad with Nate by her side? Well not now, now by her side was Adrianne. But what I meant was how could Emma possibly be sad, when she had Nate Gray as a boyfriend. And how could she be bad with Mitchie Torres as a best friend? Emma just had supportive after supportive person in her life, it made it imposible to be upset for longer then five minutes. She would be upset for one minute, be by either Mitchie or Nate's side in another minute, and with the last three minutes they would spend that time cheering her up.
"I'm alright, you?" she asked staring up at the stars. She loved the fact that the skye was so clear at camp. Emma grew up in Boston, a city. A city where you couldn't hardly ever see any stars because of all the bliding lights that were always on everywhere. But that was what she got growing up in Boston. She didn't not like Boston, not at all. Emma loved where she grew up and she wouldn't leave it for all the money in the world, maybe.
Emma yawned and began humming the melody to a song who's title had escaped her mind at the moment. She groaned as she realized the wet from the grass was slowly seeping through her sweatshirt, or what she thought was hers. It most likely wasn't. Mitchie and Caitlyn were just as messy as Emma so it was just as likely that it was one of theirs. She turned to Adrianna and awaited her reply.

Adriana liked it here with Emma. It seemed very natural. Like nothing was wrong with breaking the rules, or being here at some crazy hour. Emma lied there a while thinking about the question. Finally, she responded, "I'm alright, you?" Even though it's not a very complicated question Adriana thought about it for a while too. After a minute she said, "I'm good. Classes are great, I really have no need to complain. How's being a counselor?" She answered turning her head to see Emma's expression.
Honestly, since she had come to camp, Adriana had noticed how tight these groups were. Emma, Mitchie, Shane, Nate, and Jason all hung out together. It wasn't like a clique at all though. More of a really strong friendship. She was new here but she admired the groups people made up. It was almost like everyone belonged in their group and could always rely on those with you. She hoped that throughout this summer she would be able to make reliable friends too. There had been some pretty bad experiences with friends for Adriana. Which wasn't all bad since that did give her most of her inspiration for her songs. Bad friends, boyfriends, crushes, the works.
Just as she was mid-thought she heard a faint sound of humming. She looked back over at Emma. She was humming a really great tune of a song that Adriana promised she had heard before. Sitting there she just listened to her hum until she answered.

i hate this part right herei just can't take your tears. Emma starred up at the stars and yawned. Why'd she decided to come out here? Oh, rigth because she couldn't sleep. But now that she was out here, lying on the ground she was about to fall asleep. Maybe it was her bed. Yeah, that must of been it. NOT. Maybe her mind was just messing with her. It probably didn't want her to get any sleep just to torture her. Ugh, and now it'd gotten her to dwell on the subject. Wasn't this just delightful, no actually. It wasn't really delightful at all. Maybe she'd have to start taking sleeping pills or something. That would be super, but it probably wouldn't happen. She rememberd her eigth grade english teacher always use to complain to her class about how she never got enough sleep, and how she always took sleeping pills. Great, that was going to be Emma in 25 years.
She listened to what Adrianna had to say and nodded. That was good. Adrianna was in one of Emma's classes and she was doing rather well. But when the question arose about how being a counselor was, she sighed. It was okay, she guessed. It just took some getting use to she assumed. "It's okay." she said. Her older classes were okay, the more advanced ones. But the classes with the younger classes were just sometimes hell. They didn't listen at all, and really, it drove Emma insane to have to tolerate them all. Sure, some of them were cuties and there were three or four of them who were actually really good, but the majority of them made Emma's life hell. But what else was expected out of 11, 12, and 13 year olds. "You enjoying camp?" Emma asked Adrianna, after realizing there was a moment of silence.

long. Somethinkg seemed to be depressing her. Maybe it was just Adriana's imagination but something seemed off key. Adriana's mind was more on her life and where she was going. She hoped some record company would recognise her and take her in for a deal. Adriana knew she could play but since that little 'break' she was worried she wasn't good enough. There are a lot of kids here waiting for someone to find them. Some have been waiting far longer than others who still haven't gotten their dream. Her main focus while she was here was her music career. She learned that she missed it so much that that is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. And now she never got tired of it. It was her life. And in the end that's exactly what she needed to learn. "Just okay..?" Adriana asked wondering about the dim side of counseling. She knew it would be hard but hoped one day that she could become a teacher/counselor of some sort. Adriana didn't notice how tired she actually was until she fell asleep until Emma said something. When she popped her eyes back open because of the sound she jumped a little. She needed some rest for the next day because they all woke up early here. She would have to wake up in about 3 hours. "Well I thinks it my bedtime. It was really nice talking to you. I'll text you sometime so we can stay in-touch."[/ul]
